All fencers are required to pay a membership fee of $65 (which is valid for the 11/12 season). Membership is required if you are out for more than 4 practices in a season, and if you wish to receive group or individual lessons. All members are also required to have a current membership with the Ontario Fencing Association and a license with the Canadian Fencing Federation. None of these membership fees is included in the rates listed below. Members of the elite and HP programs are expected to fence under WFC at all CFF events. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Head Coach.
Unless you have made prior arrangements, dues are payable monthly (with post-dated cheques for the entire term) or termly. As of February, 2010, it is now possible pay your fees online. For more information about online payments, please email our treasurer for details (please note that there is a 5% service charge imposed by our provider for paying fees online). You are welcome to continue to pay fees by cash or cheque at the club as usual (with no service charges applied).There will be a $15 per week late charge for those who do not pay in a timely manner. Those who fall behind in their dues may be asked to withdraw from our programs. Re-entry upon settling of any outstanding accounts will be subject to availability, and at the sole discretion of the coaching staff.
Tournament dues and other fees, where applicable, are payable one week after you receive your invoice (or on the closest Wednesday). Again, there will be a $15 per week late charge for each outstanding invoice for those who do not pay in a timely manner.

Intro Class: $140 per month
Pre- Competitive: $120 per month
Pre Competitive plus youth class: $155 per month
Competitive: $120 per month (M/Th) or $140 per month (W/Th)
Elite: $340 per month
HP: rates will be calculated on an individual basis by the Head Coach
Drop-in rate: $35 per Intro class
Drop-in rate : $30 per competitive practice ( does not include lesson fees)
Lesson Rates:
Short lesson with Senior Coach - $25
Short lesson with Junior Coach - $15
If you are not part of a current program you will have to pay the floor fee as well as the lesson fee
First Aid Taping: $5
Equipment Rental: $25 plus $100 damage deposit

Monthly rates are calculated based on 4 weeks in each month. This is to allow for any occasional missed or cancelled practices throughout the year. Refunds will only be given in exceptional circumstances, except when arranged in advance with the club treasurer. Please see this great article which explains why we are not able to offer make-up lessons. We do not offer refunds for missed classes.
If you are interested in joining our intermediate, competitive or elite programs, please talk to one of the coaching staff. Note that these are limited enrollment programs. Places in the elite and high performance programs will be allocated at the sole discretion of the Head Coach. Fencers joining elite or high performance programs are expected to commit to that program for the entire term.
Please note that all COMP, ELITE and HP members are expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date training logs (which include regular competition reports which are due 5 days after the competition).
