Weekly Update - June 29
All practices will be running as scheduled this week.
Next week WFC, will be running a series of extra practices, and the overall theme of the week will be sabre. (Foilists should still come out!)
The practice schedule will be:
Saturday July 4th:9 – 11:30: training
11:30 – 1: lunch
1 – 3:30(ish) training
Sunday July 5th:
1 – 4: training
Monday July 6th:
6 – 9: practice (regular practice)
Tuesday July 7th:
6 – 9: extra practice
Wednesday July 8th:
6 – 8: practice (regular practice)
Thursday July 9th:
NO PRACTICE
Friday July 10th:
6 – 9: practice
Saturday July 11th:9 – 11:30: practice
1 – 4pm: sabre competition

Pomme de Terre Results:
WFC travelled to Boston, MA this weekend to compete at the Pomme de Terre event. Results were:
Men's Sabre Open: Jon - 15/61, Dan - 29/61 Men's Foil Open: Dan - 58/110, Jon - 82/110, Daniel E - 109/110 Women's Sabre Open: Sandra - 13/39, Amy 20/39 Women's Sabre Unclassified: Sandra 3/23 (E09 Card) Men's Foil Unclassified:Daniel E - 11/31 Congrats to all who competed, and to Sandra for her Medal and new Rating!

Results:
This past weekend, Dan came in 63rd at the Montreal World cup, which now gives him a world ranking of 483. Congratulations Dan!
Two weekends ago, WFC attended the OCC/YCC Finals in Kitchener. Congratulations to all who went and to our medallists!

Congratulations to Mike C and Dan B who came in second and third respectively at this weekend's "Honour Guard" tournament at Beaches Sabre Club on Saturday.
Upcoming Tournament
